Meet the Filmmakers
Parameter Films is the creative home of writer, director, and producer Oisin Byrne, alongside long-time collaborator producer Ellie Ideson. Together, they form a filmmaking duo bringing cinematic stories to life.​
​
Founder of Parameter Films, Oisin writes, directs, and produces every project: from films to hosting a newly growing podcast to story-rich social content. Parameter Films creates meaningful work that connects with people through film.

Ellie, with her background in journalism and finance, has co-produced every one of Oisin’s films since the beginning, grounding each project with sharp editorial instinct and artistic production support.​​

Parameter Films debut award-winning short film, Public Discourse, tells the story of James and Esme, who sit on different sides of the ideological fence. Sparks fly when they first meet, but because of an awkward open discourse, James and Esme are able to move past politics and find common ground, creating the beginning of a love story.
